A “public service” reminder from the Orange Juice
For those who watched the Super Bowl you should have seen the Denny’s ad of a free Grand Slam breakfast between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. that you can enjoy at many of their participating locations. While they surely lose money on this ad, you will end up paying around $2.00 for a cup of coffee or other drinks that will offset most of the actual cost.
While we have all heard the message that there is no free lunch, I do not recall ever saying there is no free breakfast.
And based on traditional advertising costs Denny’s marketing department knows what they are doing with this “free advertising”high profile giveaway.
